A Red Scarf

This is a traditional work done on a standard size moleskine sketchbook, and is a girl with half of her face covered by a red scarf. The sketch was done in pencil, lineart was done with black micron fine tip pens 01 and 02. The cooler black of the background was done with copic marker's black color- 100, and the warmer black was done in a standard black Sharpie. Additionally, the red of the scarf was also done in red Sharpie. My goal with this piece was to capture the viewer's eye with this bright red while keeping the rest of the piece monochrome. I was messy with my strokes as my art style is more of the sketchy and messy type.
